Abstract:
Graphene is an allotrope of carbon which was reluctantly produced in small quantities for
decades all the way through the use of pencils and other comparable application of graphite, but initially it was first produced and isolated in 2003.Recent advancements in Nano technology entail the development of extremely small powered Nano devices ranging from one to few hundred Nano meters in size that will in future provide several applications in the field of military, industry and biomedicine etc.Modern advancement in the field of Nano technology has led to the production of Graphene based Nano antennas. They are very much able to propagate at the frequency of Terahertz as of 0.1 to 10.0 THz.In this research, we introduce a wireless Nano sensor network with an AWGN channel bearing in mind the impairments like molecular absorption and spreading path loss. We evaluate the performance parameters of path loss of a channel, outage probability of a Nano device and channel capacity at different percentages of water absorption coefficient. Beside this, we compute the bit error rate (BER) by implementing different modulation schemes and prefer the best one that gives low BER. In future, these
performance evaluations can lead to the development of physical layer for Nano Network
Protocol.
