dc.description.abstract The project is entitled to replace a Conventional Grid System to Smart Grid Systems. Smart Grids are more diverse and can be enhanced according to technology up gradations. With the advancing technology and energy demands, the Conventional Grid cannot meet the power supply requirements. A Smart Grid ensures that renewable energy sources can be better integrated into the systems. The project includes a control unit which assures that there will be no interruption in power supply. The main objective of the project is to show that Smart Grid not only can change the current situation of electricity but also can save the economy. en_US
