| dc.description.abstract | Considering the poor traffic conditions of our country, we have developed an efficient traffic controlling system which works on inductive loop mechanism. It targets a square. Four inductive loops will be embedded on each road of the square. These inductive loops are further connected to a controller. For that, we are using Arduino mega. With the help of inductive loops, the number of cars on each road will be detected and then the controller will observe car count of each road and then compare the car count of all the four roads. The road with the maximum number of cars will be given more green signal time, and similarly road with lesser number of cars will be given lesser green signal time. This will reduce wastage of green signal time on roads with lesser number of vehicles. So the basic purpose of this system is to save time and provide an efficient traffic flow. | en_US |
