dc.description.abstract Stress Management using Calm Technology is a web application infrastructure around the theory that people who engage with technology for long hours on daily basis are seen to be more stressed. It is important to manage that stress in order to make these people work more productively. The basic idea behind this application is the belief that user’s working strength and thinking productivity can be enhanced by a steady and peaceful state of mind. This application aids the user to manage mental stress and engage with technology. Virtual Calmer aids in managing computer user’s stress and help them engage with technology efficiently. The application asks the user to take a stress assessment test which helps measure user’s stress level. It then allows user to make selections from a list of its soothing and calming techniques. Virtual Calmer is a web based application developed in ASP.net, HTML5 and CSS3 and MYSQL. This application is based on User Centered design and three-tier architecture. en_US
