Cloud Based Hotel and Tour Management System

Abstract

Pakistan has some beautiful places and some of the most scenic location in the world. The basic and the biggest problems faced by tourist or trip planners is that there is no centralized online system in Pakistan from where a person can plan or manage his trip. If a person wants to plan a trip somewhere in Pakistan he will face every type of problem from booking a hotel, getting a car to buying a ticket. This creates hurdles and people try to keep themselves away from all of this hassle. To overcome this problem we have come up with the idea of “cloud based hotel and tour management system” a centralized industrial project basically aimed for the tourism industry of Pakistan. The idea is to have a system in which there would be two separate modules one for hotel and other for the agency. The database of the system will be stored on cloud storage. The user will be able to do all the booking/renting online and will be able to plan his whole trip just sitting from home or by visiting any travelling agency. This system will also provide deals and other value added services to the clients and they all will be able to buy the deals and finalize a trip according to their personal needs with every service provided the way they want it to be. The project is based on two separate system application for hotel and for agency respectively. The rooms available in a hotel will be shown on the software which can be used by both the agency and the hotel simultaneously. Database of the project is maintained and updated on the cloud so it is easy to access anything and it also helps keep the system up to date. The database will be more secure and it would be easier to access. There would be a website and a mobile app in future enhancements and all the guests would be able to plan their trip on the go.
