dc.description.abstract | Healthcare systems are developed to automate patient medical records which later on helps to track medical history. This application enable the delivery of confidential, quality and cost effective health services as well as to facilitate the doctors, receptionists and also medical staff. Currently, in Pakistan, more than 90% of clinics and hospital are managing their records using manual file system. The file systems required numerous paper forms for storing the patient information. Often the information is incomplete, inconsistence or does not follow the management standards and guidelines. Due to these flaws and disadvantages of the current system, a healthcare clinical system is proposed .HCS have a 3 tire architecture. Presentation layer, Business logic layer, Data repository. HCS is a desktop application along with Windows form as front end MSQL server as backend data store to maintain and store medical history. HCS include appointment scheduling, billing, reporting, and medical related information. The aim is to standardizing the information.
