Abstract

In our day and age, we often work on differnt computers in the passage of any given week. And therefore many of us have more than one computer just to ourselves. Factor in the work computer at office and the home computer for personal use. Nothing is worse than getting to office in the morning and realizing that the most recent copy of an important file has been left on our home computer. No matter where we are and what computer we are using we always want the most updated set of documnets and files with us, therefore the Application that is developed as result of this research project can automattically update the files between work and home computers of its users as an outcome whether the user's work is edited at home it is automatically loaded on his/her PC at office. The need to have access to an individual’s data whether working late at office, using his/her office PC or polishing up a project on thier home PC can be handomesly catered by the resultant product of this project. This application will make sure that the most current version of a file is present on the computers its users work. Remote File sharing saves its users the trouble of manually saving, modifying and replacing files on differnt compuets. Anyone who has put significan effort and time into a project only see it deleted or corrupt can value the worth of such utilities in the market. This application might be able to help its users to recover his/her data whose either computer has encountered an unexpected crah or corruption. The best that all the users can rest assured with the hope that thier data is bieng updated without having manually doen by them. The developed software includes scheduling features that automate syncs so its users can stay productive without worrying about their data.
