Abstract

High quality early-childhood education also known as kindergarten education can improve a child’s social and economic outcomes and establish a firm base for future education. In Pakistan preschool educational process needs significant improvement due to lack of teachers, infrastructure, techniques and latest technologies. This thesis discuses “Kido E learning system” that provides solution to above mentioned problems. The system we have implemented contains digital Lessons, worksheets, Assessments and Reports. Students use their pencils to write on touch screens, attached to the computer that has our software installed in it and can take digital lessons, attempt worksheets and give assessments. Through digital reports generated by the software, teachers can monitor student’s performance and focus on those students who need more attention hence, making teaching process more effective and efficient. This system is currently deployed and operational in Sky school system F-11.
