Abstract:
BU Research Portal is a web based application, which is intended to provide the Uni-
versity's faculty with an organized, e cient and user-friendly platform to cater with the
publications. This application does not only reduce the hassle of managing, storing
and reviewing the papers but also provides with an interactive interface for analyzing
the publications published overall by the University, department wise. All in all, it is
an application that helps the faculty to engage and manage the process of publications
in an interactive and systematic manner. Brie
y, its features include the following: It
allows teachers to manage their data(Journal Papers, Conference Paper and Books).In
addition, it assists the administration to access the record of faculty member (s) and
check the teachers' performance through the reports. Moreover, the public can easily
access this data available on the online server for review and the teacher(s) can eas-
ily generate their performance report without extensive e ort. Collectively, it is a web
based application that replaces the manual management of the publications by utilizing
the latest web technologies.
