dc.description.abstract | Many systems (E‐Hifz system) are available which assist in Arabic pronunciation, learning and memorization of the Holy Quran. They do not provide facility of referencing based on audio input (Quranic verse). Reference to a Quranic verse is very important part of Quran itself because the authenticity of a verse is verified by the reference. AQRS is Quran referencing system.A speaker dependent speech recognition system which takes continuous words input (verse) from users and displays the reference of the input (verse). The purpose of the software is to provide a Quranic verse verification system. The system can verify any verse of the Holy Quran within seconds. The goal of the product is to provide references of the Quranic verses. It is done by a two phase process that is training phase and testing phase. In training phase a reference model is built and testing phase input speech is matched with that reference model. The features of speech are calculated using Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) and Mel‐frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) is used as a classifier. The main functionality is developed in Matlab and interface and other functionality is developed in c#. | en_US |
