Abstract:
Automated Order Placing and Table Reservation System is an integrated generic application for Hotel/Restaurant industry (Web, Smart Phone application, Windows application, android based tablet application). Concept of this system mainly is, on every table there is a tablet, connected to a /server. When a customers come they will not have to wait for anybody, they simply sit and place the order using tablet. Different tasks are performed by Costumers, Admin, Managers, kitchen Manager and Owner. This system will maintain the record of order, reservation and provide the interaction between the users who have access to this system. Currently waiters, admin, Managers and Owner are working manually and they save the record in files manually which is not an efficient and friendly way of doing so. In this era of automation time is the key to success so that's why we had to implement such a system that saves time and money.
The system was developed using different languages. System will help the hotel's staff members to manage the functionality and transactions to grasp its maximum potential in addition to its ability in the hotel business field. This automated system is totally a contemporary information technology for all the hotels/restaurants/guesthouses. It will definitely bring competitive edge and it’s industrial in nature. We are specifically targeting the hotel/ restaurants/guesthouses because it will help to negotiate its position with respect to the market.
