dc.description.abstract Privatizing institutions, organizations and enterprises, is the most talked about issue in the developing countries. The inefficient government owned enterprises are completely privatized to relieve the pressure off the government‟s accounts. But in the case of Pakistan, privatization is not easy. The political diversity and the growing judicial strength opposes the privatization of „highly profitable enterprises‟ (if proficiently administered), such as PIA, Pakistan Steel Mills and Heavy Industries. The matter of privatization is of a great concern in Pakistan as there are not enough government owned corporations/enterprises in Pakistan. And the few that government owns are completely going in loss. en_US
