| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this dissertation is to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of Warnali-01 through petrophysical interpretation. Geographically Warnali-01 well is located at 32° 40" 42.10' N and 73°14"36.28' E and is situated in Pind Dadan Khan Tehsilof Jhelum District. Tectonically it lies at the North of salt range in potawar plateau Upper Indus basin. The potwar plateau comprised of many monocline folds dipping southward with main reservoirs of early Cambrian Khewra sandstone. The overall evaluation of the well logs resulted one zone in Khewra Sandstone. Zone 1 has low hydrocarbon saturation of less than 50% having high effective porosity. Throughout petrophysical evaluation and interpretation result led us to conclude that Warnali-01 well have low reservoir potential and therefore has been abandon. | en_US |
