dc.description.abstract Main purpose of the dissertation is to evaluate the structure and hydrocarbon potential using well log data of Duljan-01 well and Seismic lines of Gambat block ,Southern Indus basin, Sindh, Pakistan. The Southern Indus basin which is a extensional tectonic regime exhibiting normal faulting. The area has very less tectonism andd throws of the faults are very less. The targeted formations ranged from Eocene to early Cretaceous. For structural enhancement, four migrated seismic lines; 897-GP-304, 897-GP-303, BG96GAM-03 (dip lines) and BG96GAM-06 (strike line) were provided. Time and depth contours of three horizons, Sui upper limestone formation, Sui Main Limestone formation and Lower Goru formation were generated which confirmed the Horst and Graben structure in the subsurface. Petrophysical analysis could not be done due to incorrect log data. en_US
