dc.description Supervised by Mr. M. Fahad Mahmood en_US
dc.description.abstract The survey was conducted by the OGDCL in 1974. The purpose of the survey was to locate the prospective zone in the Layyah area and to understand structural and stratigraphic processes of hydrocarbons entrapment. The kamiab 01 well is located in the Punjab province and according to a regional tectonic it lies in the Punjab platform, which is the part of the Central Indus Basin regimes. The seismic lines chosen for interpretation are line 835-LEA-102, line 835-LEA-105, line 835-LEA-109, line 835-LEA-101 and line 845-LEA-111 lies in the Punjab platform. One strike line shooting direction is North to South rest of all lines are dip lines and their shooting direction if from East to West. en_US
