A STUDYOF FACTORS WHICH MOTIVATE COMPANIES TO OUTSOURCE LOGISTICS IN GREEN SUPPY CHAIN

Abstract

Purpose: The study is based on true trending to those arc motivate companies to outsource logistics their logistics services in Green Supply Chain. The study was conducted in Pakistan researching about how the it works and what kind of steps and knowledge you required to motivate for outsourcing for supply chain. The current market presents the elements of unpredictably market which portraying of process durations, to decrease the expenses and steady modify. Every organization needs to enhance and grow in market by outsourcing their services to reach in market. Supply chain process is continues improvement process of distribution logistics services. SCM divisions is rapidly creating region, the restriction in the business and the needs of the customers are growing as well. Suppliers are under predictable weight to broaden and separate their organizations. The industries are most accruing GSCM services for their distribution services offered are mostly warehousing, freight bill payment, freight charge auditing, customs clearance, pickup and delivery, consulting and packaging, all these services are provided by 3PL logistics companies in Pakistan. It is difficult to go normal approach to eco-supply chain which creates a challenge to adopt it. Organization must see to change and operations to boost with eco friendly approach to environment Methodology: The strategy for research is cover as much as textile industry but we will be choosing best top ten leading organization of the industry were chosen. The target audience were about 100 employees from different Merchandiser Managers of different logistics companies i.e. Agility, Skyways, E2e SCM, TCS, FedEx, P&M and PTN. They were other 250 representatives. The size of sample for data collection were around 250 respondent, they were both managerial and non-managerial employees of top ten SCM companies. Findings: The research shows that the market has more potential to gain more wining their customers’ heart by providing more facilities and making their standards to upgrade with more updated with technologies and more skilled with knowledge to make sure the work should completed and deliver as per customer requirement. The research shows 44% of data is correct that the results show positive and it can be accepted in our country Pakistan because around the world are making continuous improvement to the management of supply chain by introducing green supply chain system around the world. The purpose is to adopt new practices, drivers and implementation in different fields of supply chain management. Practical Implications: There should be an agreement between the Pakistan and other countries regarding supply chain management solution should increase their standards with new technologies to meet the world on same platforms.
