dc.description.abstract Service usage in university academic systems in Pakistan still depends heavily on manual checking of portals, repeated logins, and informal WhatsApp groups for important updates. Students frequently visit CMS to see attendance, new assignments, and deadlines, and they rely on classmates to forward screenshots and messages. This scattered, time-consuming process causes missed notifications, late submissions, and extra stress, especially during peak academic load. The AI Automation Bot “RIA” addresses this gap by connecting students with the Bahria University CMS through an intelligent, automated assistant. The system uses an AI agent that can understand natural language queries, log in to CMS on behalf of the user, scrape attendance and assignment data, and provide clear, conversational answers through WhatsApp. It offers features such as attendance summaries, detailed analysis with warnings, teacher information, assignment download and upload guidance, and continuous monitoring with notifications for changes. To ensure reliability even when WhatsApp is unavailable, a backup mobile application named “Ria”, developed in Flutter, provides access to the same academic information and alerts through a separate app interface. The backend is implemented using Python, LangChain, and Google Gemini for AI driven responses, along with browser automation for secure data retrieval and JSON-based storage for monitoring state. By combining automation, AI, and a cross-platform mobile app, this project aims to streamline students’ interaction with the university CMS, reduce repetitive manual work, and make academic information more accessible, timely, and organized for Bahria University students. en_US
