dc.description.abstract The need for new and effective methods of instruction and evaluation is always expanding in the context of a changing educational environment. It takes a lot of time and resources to create manual questions for educational exams, especially for teachers who are responsible for promoting student growth and information acquisition. Our project, "Automatic Question Generation Employing NLP Techniques," offers a solution to this problem by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, notably natural language processing (NLP) techniques, to automatically generate questions. This project focuses on elementary pupils in grades 1 through 5, where basic knowledge is crucial to a student's academic development. Our approach intends to speed up the process of creating questions and tests, giving teachers a useful tool to accurately measure student understanding. To extract relevant information, identify key concepts, and categorize question types, machine learning models that have been trained on a variety of data sources are used. In line with educational goals, the generated questions are made to test a range of cognitive abilities, from simple memory to higher-order thinking. Students' learning experiences can be improved, and self- evaluation can be made easier by providing answers to the questions generated. A web application-based software solution that is poised to transform the process of educational evaluation is the anticipated result of this project. Our initiative intends to empower educators, save valuable time, and give students engaging and effective learning opportunities by automating the generation of questions and quizzes. As we set out on this adventure, we hope that this initiative will make teaching easier while also expanding the area of educational technology and improving access to and engagement with learning. It will work in four different ways: it will generate questions from some text, it generates fill-in-the- blanks, it also can generate answers of the user questions and last but not the least both questions and answers automatically en_US
