شیخ عبدالقادر جیلانی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا دعوتی منہج و اسلوب: تجزیاتی مطالعہ

Abstract

Inviting people towards good and stopping them from doing wrong is the way of the Prophets. After the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), this duty belongs to all Muslims, especially the scholars. This research explains the method and style of preaching used by a great Islamic preacher, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani. The study is based on two of his well-known books, Futuh al-Ghaib and Al-Fath al-Rabbani. It shows that the problems in society during his time were the reason behind his active efforts in preaching. His work brought great results, many people gave up sinful lives, and thousands of non-Muslims accepted Islam. At the end of the research, some useful suggestions are given for today’s Islamic preachers by following the way of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani.
