dc.description.abstract Project Management Offices (PMO) Features by design, are vigorous framework in true spirit, most often in switching from one context and edifice to another. The project management office features are adopted more by recent technologies such as information technology rather than older matured established industries. There is, a need to understand reasons for the same for its wider application. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between PMO features and project outcome, while understanding the moderating influence of project environment on the relationship between PMO features and project outcome. A quantitative research implying cross-sectional study of Pakistani public universities through correlation & regression analysis to test research hypotheses based upon 177 responses received from the respondents. The findings reveal the dynamic nature of project management office features which require periodic review and update in the prevailing environment for the project management office outcome in higher education institutes. en_US
