dc.description.abstract The field of Information Technology (IT) in Pakistan is rife with challenges and opportunities, with gender diversity emerging as a potential avenue for enhancing project outcomes. The problem at hand is the lack of understanding regarding how gender diversity impacts project success in Pakistan's IT sector. This study aims to fill this gap by examining how gender diversity influences project success, considering the mediating role of team motivation and the moderating effect of organizational culture. Using a quantitative approach, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 193 participants from Pakistan's IT sector Data was analyzed using Smart PLS, specifically Partial Least Squared-Structural Equation modeling. Our results indicate a positive impact of gender diversity on project success through the mediation of team motivation and moderation of organizational culture. By highlighting the potential of gender diversity, supported by team motivation and organizational culture, this study aims to foster inclusivity, innovation, and excellence within Pakistan's IT sector and beyond. By empirically examining the relationships between gender diversity, team motivation, and project success, this research enhances our theoretical understanding of the role of diversity in project management in the context of specific organizational culture. It contributes to the broader literature regarding the specific attributes of male and female employees in boosting team motivation which can significantly impact the overall project success. en_US
