Abstract:
Generally, people struggle to synchronize their schedules due to limited and economical transportation options between locations. This Report suggests a carpooling platform that allows drivers to divide fuel costs, share rides, and save money in order to improve individual mobility. Although carpooling is a good alternative in places where there aren't many transit options, it's not the only one. Riders.pk offers an easy-to-use sharing system in an effort to promote carpooling, especially among locals and students.
An Android mobile application with backend servers has been created to set up this carpooling system. The application leverages effective backend solutions and Android Development Tools and Libraries to provide a user interface that is both user-friendly and durable, suitable for a wide age range of users. Riders.pk stands out for accepting the benefits of carpooling while working to lessen its drawbacks and putting the needs of its users first.
Even though ridesharing behemoths like Careem and Uber have been operating in Pakistan for five years, these services are not subject to any regulations. This research examines how ridesharing laws in Pakistan differ from those in Bangladesh, China, India, Malaysia, and New York State. It also suggests a basic legal structure specifically for Pakistan in order to direct decision-makers in this area.
