| dc.description.abstract | This study is aimed at analyzing how Agile practices and Sustainable Economic practices affect the success of projects. This study also analyzes the moderating role of Top Management’s commitment of different agile-centric IT organizations in Lahore, Pakistan. The study opted the method of questionnaire based survey which were filled out by different IT professionals in Lahore, registered with Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA). Data from 200 respondents was collected and structural equation modelling (SEM) was applied through SmartPLS 4. It is observed that agile practices increase the chances of successful completion of projects and sustainable economic practices does not mediate the relationship between agile practices and project success. Moreover, it is observed that top management commitment moderates the relationship between agile practices and project success. This study contributes to the emerging literature on economic sustainability in the field of IT Project Management. IT industry plays an important role in the development of any country in this digital age. This study provides a better understanding of the relationship between Agile Practices and project success which has been gaining significant popularity in the IT industry in terms of betterment of Project Success and supporting Sustainable Economic Practices.
