Rythmix : A Music Streaming Website

Abstract

Rythmix is a web-based audio editing and collaboration platform designed to empower users with intuitive, real-time music creation tools directly from the browser. Built using up-to-date technologies such as Next.js, React, WaveSurfer.js, and Supabase, the platform allows users to upload, record, and manipulate audio tracks with features like trimming, effects application, and waveform visualization. A key highlight of Rythmix is its in- tegration with DiffRythm, an AI model served via FastAPI, which provides intelligent music generation and suggestions. The system supports real-time collaboration, enabling multiple users to edit and manage projects simultaneously. With a responsive interface built using Material UI and seamless backend integration, Rythmix offers a lightweight yet powerful alternative to traditional desktop-based Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), making music production more accessible and collaborative.
