BeaconX

Abstract

BeaconX is a project which consists of beacons (A Bluetooth broadcasting device which broadcasts an address every time in its lifespan having no memory) with the integration of an Android-based application named as BeaconX. Both i.e. beacon and the BeaconX will be integrated in a way that the broadcasted address will be recognized by the application and all the stored information against that address (MAC Address) will be shown in the application. A budget calculator will also be introduced, and this calculator will be manipulating the self-billing for the user. This interface is for the customer’s spent amount and products what they have bought in the cart, so that they can shop within their budget. Finally, a QR code will be generated at user’s device which will be further scanned by the cashier during billing process at cash counter end and user can also see all his purchasing in Cart history of BeaconX.
