dc.description.abstract Over the last few years Project Management Offices have become quite relevant and desirable in the organizations which are facing uncertainties due to project complexities and organizational environmental conditions. Project Management Offices have justified their presence by causing an increase in project successes, standardization of project deliveries and introduction of predictability within the project as well as organizational frameworks. In this report the implementation of Project Management Office was observed on a flagship project named “Smart Monitoring of Development Projects in Punjab” under the Public Sector Organization, “P&DD Government of Punjab”. The methodology employed in this report is based upon conducting review of the organization, reviewing the literature related to the project and its associated subsidiaries, analysing the process flows, observance of the implementation of PMO through key metrics, measurement of value addition done by PMO and comparison of the prevalent and predecessor situations and scenarios. en_US
