dc.description.abstract Mental health issues are increasing in today’s fast-paced and high-stress society. Despite growing awareness, many individuals continue to face significant barriers when it comes to seeking professional help. These obstacles may include societal stigma, lack of access to mental health services, financial constraints, or the fear of being judged or misunderstood by the society. As a result, countless people suffer emotional distress in silence, without receiving the support they need. To help reduce this critical gap, our project introduces the AI Psychologist Tele- Therapist - an intelligent virtual system designed to facilitate interactive mental health sessions. This system uses advanced AI technology to create a conversation that feels like a therapy session. Its goal is to make mental health support easier to access, less scary, and available to everyone, no matter where they are or what time it is. The AI Psychologist integrates advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of the user’s emotional and psychological state. It starts and keeps up a lively text conversation with the user, trying to feel as warm and caring as a real therapist. At the same time, it uses the webcam to read facial expressions and analyzes the user’s words to better understand their emotions. Throughout the session, AI continuously adapts its responses based on the detected emotional states, ensuring a personalized, compassionate, and context aware interaction. This responsiveness allows the system to mirror human-like empathy and sensitivity, making the user feel heard, validated, and supported during the session. At the end of each session, the system creates a mental health report with helpful insights such as emotional patterns, key behaviors, and personalized tips, such as mindfulness, journaling, or seeing a therapist. It keeps all user data private and secure, so people can freely share. Overall, it uses AI to make mental health support more reachable, giving early emotional guidance to those who might not get help otherwise. en_US
