| dc.description.abstract | One of the most remarkable advancements of the current century has been the development and wide usage of internet among common consumers. Pakistan has also been a part of the run with a great deal of development in internet usage and related technologies. Pakistani consumers are now using internet more than ever and the reasons is attributed to the countless benefits of the technology. Internet serves as a medium of exchange of information, a gateway for social interaction, and a source of sharing of lifestyles between distant consumers. There are several ways that individual consumers seek internet facilities that are based mainly individual needs. Internet for instance has become the core medium for modern communication. This has gained popularity due to the advanced emailing and interactional applications available to the consumers. These facilities have alike increased the variety of gadgets and technologies that support the communication. The impact of this has been such on the consumers that they have become more involved in usage of the internet. The usage of internet is not limited to emails and official communication as users of the internet are exposed to social media platforms the variety of which ranges from lifestyle sharing platforms such Facebook and google plus but also Instagram and Snapchat which are specialized application for photo haring and photo communication. With the internet hence, the consumer can share their lifestyle in unimaginable ways and has increased the popularity of this medium to the extent that a major population cannot imagine a life without this technology. | en_US |
