Abstract:
Many customers hesitate to shop online because websites and mobile applications feel complicated, slow, or inconvenient. From practical experience in e-commerce, it is clear that this hesitation reduces customer engagement and increases drop-off during the purchasing process. To address this problem, this project introduces a WhatsApp-based E-Commerce Chatbot that shifts the entire online shopping journey into a single chat conversation.
The system allows customers to browse product categories, view product details, add items to a cart, place orders, and receive order confirmations directly through WhatsApp. Customers can also get real-time updates such as order status and delivery notifications. Since WhatsApp is already widely used and familiar to most users, this approach reduces resistance and improves trust and convenience.
In addition to the customer-facing chatbot, the project includes a web-based admin panel. This panel enables businesses to manage products, inventory, orders, customers, suppliers, and employees in an organized way. Automation features such as automated replies, inventory updates, and notifications reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
Overall, this project provides a simple, cost-effective, and scalable e-commerce solution. It benefits customers by offering an easy and familiar shopping experience and helps businesses by automating daily operations and reducing the need for complex websites or mobile applications.
