Abstract:
Convenient and easily available automobile rental services are much sought after in the technologically driven world of today. By creating a user-friendly, scalable, and safe web platform for automobile rentals, the automobile Hub project seeks to close the distance between conventional car rental operations and modern technological solutions. Inspired first by the operational difficulties a tiny rental company, Punjab Car Rental, the project developed into a more general digital solution capable of serving consumers both locally and nationally. Car Hub's main goal is to give users a flawless experience using an easy internet interface so they may search, book, and handle car rentals. Constructed on MySQL, XAMPP, PHP, and WordPress, the platform comprises basic capabilities including dynamic automobile listings, real-time booking forms, admin dashboards, responsive design, and safe user authentication. While security and performance guarantees dependability and data protection, other connectors such as the VikRentCar plugin allow advanced rental logic. Additionally extensively tested were the project's units, integration, systems, performance, and user acceptance. It was put in use on a live server, guaranteeing availability to a larger readership. From requirements collecting and design to deployment and user feedback collecting, the development process stressed best practices in software engineering. Looking ahead, the initiative suggests further improvements including mobile app development, in-app chat, role-based access management, secure payment integration, and marketing capabilities to build Car Hub into a competitive, commercial-grade car rental platform. By means of this project, Car Hub not only addresses practical issues but also showcases the possibilities of digital transformation in the automotive rental sector, therefore enabling more effective, user-centric car rentals.
