dc.description.abstract The research study examines the influence of green human resource practices on green creativity (GC) and pro-environmental behavior (PEB) in the context of the hospitality industry in Pakistan. It also investigates the mediating role of green work engagement (GWE) in this relationship. The study adopts a quantitative research design, utilizing a deductive approach and a cross-sectional survey conducted among managers in the hospitality sector. Data is collected using a semi-structured questionnaire, and the sample is selected through a multi-stage sampling technique. The sample size of the study is two hundred and seventy four. The findings of this research highlight the significant impact of green HR practices on Green Work Engagement, which in turn positively influences both Green Creativity and Pro-environmental behavior. The analysis reveals that various dimensions of Green HRM practices, such as green ability (GA), green motivation (GM), and green opportunity (GO), have a significant positive effect on Green Work Engagement. The study demonstrates that Green Work Engagement acts as a catalyst, channeling the effects of green HR practices towards promoting creative thinking and generating innovative environmentally friendly ideas, as well as fostering Pro-environmental behavior. The study contributes to the existing literature by analyzing the relationship between green HR practices, Green Work Engagement, Green Creativity and Pro-environmental behavior. The findings emphasize the significance of integrating environmental sustainability practices within HR practices to foster employee engagement in green initiatives and drive positive environmental outcomes in the hospitality industry. The study acknowledges certain limitations. Future research endeavors could aim to overcome these limitations by conducting studies with larger sample sizes, encompassing multiple sectors, and exploring additional mediating and moderating factors in the relationship between green HR practices and environmentally sustainable outcomes. In conclusion, this thesis sheds light on the impact of Green HRM practices on Green Creativity and Pro- environmental behavior in the hospitality industry of Pakistan. The study provides theoretical and practical implications that can guide organizations in the hospitality industry toward implementing effective green HR practices, fostering employee engagement, and driving positive environmental outcomes. Ultimately, this research contributes to the broader goal of achieving sustainability in the hospitality sector. en_US
