| dc.description.abstract | The healthcare sector, despite its vital role in society, poses significant environmental challenges due to resource consumption, waste generation, and carbon emissions. In response, healthcare institutions are increasingly exploring eco-friendly Human Resource Management (HRM) practices as a strategy to promote sustainable performance, encompassing environmental, social, and economic dimensions. This research aims to investigate the influence of eco-friendly HRM practices on sustainable performance in healthcare institutions and examine the mediating role of eco-friendly innovation in this relationship.Grounded in the theoretical framework of sustainability and innovation, the research posits that eco-friendly HRM practices significantly influence the overall sustainable performance of healthcare institutions. These practices include green recruitment, employee training on sustainable initiatives, and the assimilation of environmental considerations into performance evaluations. To measure the impact, a set of formulas, including the Eco-Friendly HRM Index (EFHI) and Sustainable Performance (SP), are employed. Moreover, the study introduces the Eco-Friendly Innovation Index (EFII) as a mediator, assessing the extent to which innovative practices inspired by eco-friendly HRM contribute to overall sustainability. To achieve a greener healthcare future, optimizing eco-friendly HRM practices, exploring green innovations, and ensuring equitable access to initiatives across public and private institutions is crucial. This journey begins with understanding the power of eco-friendly HRM. | en_US |
