dc.description.abstract The major aim of this study is to highlight digital mapping in the field of Geology. To achieve this objective, a couple of software including FieldMove, Move 2D, Arc GIS were used. Firstly, a geological map of Choa Saidan Shah and adjoining areas was prepared and inserted to move 2D to create a project and further uploaded to FieldMove, An Android application. Our day field visit was planned to the Choa Saidan Shah Bypass road section. Since the mobile was acting as a clinometer, various lithological and structural units were recorded ranging from Cambrian to Eocene age including dip, strike. Faults, fractures, sedimentological features and field photographs were taken using the same applications. The project was then exported and loaded to Move 2D in the table to extend and complete the remaining jobs which resulted in a digital map of the study area. en_US
