dc.description.abstract | Nishat Mills is one of the oldest and most important textile companies in Pakistan. Established in 1951, it played a key role in the country’s industrial development after independence. Nishat produces high-quality products like yarn, fabric, and garments. The company has contributed a lot to Pakistan’s economy by creating jobs and exporting its products worldwide. Nishat is recognized for its focus on improving its operations and maintaining quality standards to stay competitive in the global market. Nishat Mills Limited is not only one of the oldest but also one of the largest textile companies in Pakistan. Its current assets are valued at Rs. 127,306 million as of December 2024. The company provides direct employment for over 46,000 people, making it a major contributor to the country’s workforce. Nishat Mills has several manufacturing units located in cities such as Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Ferozewatwan, and Lahore. These facilities contribute significantly to the production of yarn, fabric, and finished garments. The diversity in business activities allows Nishat to contribute to Pakistan’s economy in multiple ways, making it a key player in both the textile industry and other sectors. | en_US |
