dc.description.abstract | The Rogue Device Detection System improves LAN security by detecting and removing unwanted devices in real time. It effectively detects rogue devices and possible sniffers by using methods including OEM/OUI-based identification, whitelist verification, active network scanning, and promiscuous mode monitoring. The system is built on Django and PostgreSQL, and it includes an easy-to-use dashboard for device administration, alarms, and reporting. High detection accuracy and scalability were shown throughout testing. This method of security provides a scalable and reliable way to protect network settings against unwanted access. | en_US |
