Abstract:
This project presents a smart and modern way to manage energy by combining smart meters with Digital Twin technology. A Raspberry Pi (4 Model B), which collects real-time data from the smart energy meter. This data is then sent to Microsoft Azure, where it creates a virtual 3D Sync model of the energy meter. In this setup, we can monitor energy use in real time, spot problems early from DT alerts, and make better decisions to save energy. The Digital Twin platform helps us to understand energy patterns, plan maintenance before something breaks, and reduce energy waste. This approach not only cuts down on running costs but also supports eco-friendly practices in our community and smarter city planning. It improves the way energy is used and managed, especially when compared to old system practices. The success of this project shows how technology can make energy systems more efficient, reduce downtime, and improve overall performance. It also helps us learn more about how energy is used, which can lead to even better ideas in the future. Our goal is to promote smarter and more sustainable ways to manage energy problem. Additionally, this project deepens the understanding of energy consumption dynamics, setting the stage for future advancements in smart cities and sustainable energy solutions. Through this initiative, we aspire to inspire innovative energy management strategies that align with sustainability and operational excellence principles.
