| dc.description.abstract | The rapid evolution of technology has transformed the way customers interact with businesses, making online presence a crucial element for growth. Sweet Palace faced challenges due to the lack of a dedicated mobile application and website for ordering. Customers were required to manually view menu pictures via messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, which resulted in communication delays, order inaccuracies, and customer dissatisfaction. This system provides a cross-platform mobile application built using React Native, where customers can seamlessly view the whole menu, make orders, customize packaging options. A supporting website was also built to provide a push to brand awareness and showcase the variety of products, whereas online ordering is available only through the mobile app. The system ensures efficient order management, customer data capture, and enhanced communication between the customers and Sweet Palace employees. The mobile application architecture involves user authentication, dynamic menu management, cart operations and role-based functionalities for Service Managers, Branch Managers, and the Owner. Technologies like Node.js, MongoDB and Express.js were employed to establish a robust backend, while the frontend emphasized user-friendly interface design and responsiveness across Android and iOS platforms. Additionally, security aspects such as verification during sign-up and order confirmation have been integrated to ensure safe and reliable operations. Through the development and deployment of this solution, Sweet Palace anticipates improved customer satisfaction, business productivity, and overall business growth. The proposed system eliminates the manual dependency on order placement, offers a systematic order management procedure, and assists in presenting a modern and professional image. | en_US |
