Cyber Guard

Abstract

Cyber Guard is a web-based malware analysis tool with strong static and dynamic analysis features that is intended to improve cybersecurity. The platform, lets users check software, files, and folders for viruses, vulnerabilities, and other harmful threats. VirusTotal and Kaspersky APIs are used for static analysis, and Cuckoo Sandbox, enhanced with Suricata and Snort features, is integrated for dynamic analysis. Cyber Guard use role based access control with different roles like Admins, Technicians, Supervisors, or Analyzers. Every user has their own responsibilities like submitting software, performing analysis and monitoring the results. This makes it easier to identify harmful software and reduce security risks. Cyber Guards is designed to detect and handle malware efficiently. Before submitting any files or software technician first generate file hash and then upload software details. After receiving notifications, supervisor assigns task to analyzer. Analyzer perform both static and dynamic analysis using tools like Cuckoo, Kaspersky and VirusTotal. All analysis reports along their remarks and recommendations are saved in system. After reviewing these reports, supervisors decide whether to whitelist or blacklist software based on the results. Admins are in charge of system-wide statistics, API key configurations, and user registrations. Cyber Guard makes computers safe by finding and reporting malware.
