| dc.description.abstract | The primary objective of this research project is to understand the structural architecture of the Amirpur study area seismic data on Move 2D. The investigation was carried out in two stages: seismic interpretation followed by structural restoration. The seismic interpretation involved base map creation, control line selection TD chart preparation, and fault and horizon picking. For the Eocene and Precambrian formations, surfaces were generated to understand the subsurface geological structure. Interpretation of the seismic lines revealed the presence of a triangular zone, bounded by a back and fore thrust with a basement décollement (SRT), indicating that the trapping mechanism in the region is structural. Structural restoration was conducted on the move to better understand the following evolution of this deformation, which occurs sequentially, similar to sequence thrusting. Where, principal displacement was transported along base decollement SRT and divided along imbrication F1 and F2. The crustal shortening at Eocene level was calculated approximately 1129m. | en_US |
