dc.description.abstract The Israel-Palestine conflict has persisted for nearly seven decades, causing significant human and economic destruction. Despite its mandate, the United Nations has been ineffective in mediating an acceptable resolution between the parties. Additionally, international organizations such as the UN, ICJ, and ICC have been facing challenges in upholding international law and human rights. Political interests, particularly the influence of veto powers like the U.S. in the UN Security Council, often hinder decisive actions against Israel. Additionally, jurisdictional limitations, such as those faced by the ICC, weaken efforts to hold violators of human rights in Palestinian areas accountable. This study critically examines the United Nations' role in resolving international disputes, focusing on the Israel-Palestine conflict. It evaluates the UN's strengths and weaknesses in peacebuilding, humanitarian efforts, and mediation. Drawing on existing literature, UN documents, and expert interviews, the study highlights challenges faced by the UN in addressing the conflict, including structural complexities and the intricacies of the dispute itself. This dispute highlights the urgent need for reforms, particularly limiting veto power and strengthening international institutions in order to sustain international law. Without such changes and stronger global commitment, human rights protection and justice in the Israel-Palestine conflict will remain hindered. This paper contributes to the discourse on international law enforcement by proposing reforms to enhance the effectiveness of global organizations in ensuring justice and accountability in conflict zones. en_US
