Abstract:
Companies, both large and small are facing the effects of the current poor economic conditions around the world. They either face downsizing or have to watch experienced employees leave. This creates a gap as employees with experience take their skills with them, making the company go back to square one, especially in areas where data are involved, impeding the process of making decisions which are crucial and time-bound. To cut this gap, CrytalEye - a web application - was designed and developed with the sole purpose of decreasing the dependency of skills, making it primarily to be operated by non-technical people. CrytsalEye provides the users with the ability to analyze data, automate the data preprocessing and analysis steps, and provide the user with visualizations. It stands out from the rest of the services because of its cross platform portability, removing the hassle of downloading the application to use. Boring data preprocessing jobs like cleaning and normalising data are made easy by CrystalEye reducing the need for professional IT experts. Businesses can forecast future outcomes such as sales trends and efficiency of operations. Furthermore, the chatbot of CrystalEye allows users to converse with the system in natural language, thus, making search easier than trawling through multiple complex options. In other words, CrystalEye provides an opportunity for businesses to turn raw information into valuable information without a deep data analytics experience by solving some of the most challenging tasks for you.
