dc.description.abstract | The prevailing problem of substance abuse and addiction poses a significant threat to society, impacting public health and the general well-being of people. Even though organizations make numerous efforts, this issue continues to grow as a substantial threat to global society. The project focuses on commonly used drugs in Pakistan. The system aims to ensure an effective and sustained recovery journey for individuals. This project introduces a mobile health (mHealth) application designed to support individuals recovering from drug addiction post-rehabilitation. The system comprises two mobile applications, one for patients and one for supervisors, and a website dedicated to providing drug-related information and raising awareness. The patient application includes features such as a chatbot, location tracking, community forums, daily insights, sobriety clocks, and a relapse prevention module to assist with long-term recovery and prevent relapse. The supervisor application facilitates effective monitoring of patients, communication, and timely intervention. Leveraging Google Firebase for real-time data management and the Google Maps API for location tracking, this cross-platform application addresses gaps in existing drug recovery frameworks by providing a comprehensive approach. | en_US |
