Ora Cure-AI Dental Disease Detection

Abstract

The OraCure-AI (Dental Disease Detection) is a user-friendly web application designed to make dental care more accessible and help with early diagnosis. The platform uses modern technologies, combining the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) with Flask for machine learning. It’s built for two main users: patients and doctors. The app offers two key features. First, patients can upload pictures of their teeth, and a machine learning model will automatically check for common dental problems like hypodentia, gingivitis,caries, Mouth Ulcers Calculus and Tooth Discoloration. If an issue is found, the app suggests simple home remedies. Second, patients can easily book appointments with their preferred dentists based on available schedules. The system also includes separate dashboards for admins, doctors, and patients, each tailored to their needs. Admins can manage user and doctor accounts, while doctors have tools to manage appointments and review patient information. Overall, this project simplifies dental care by offering an automated disease detection tool and a straightforward appointment booking system, all wrapped up in an intuitive, responsive design
