Abstract:
The misuse of resources and the security hazards in the current time of Pakistan made us take this
project as a serious challenge.
Our project fully justifies the title and it gives complete access control to the university management
keeping in mind the real time scenario and all the conditions associated with it. We made use of our
knowledge about RFID, microcontroller and all the engineering subjects and after lots of hardship
concluded with desired result.
Previously manual systems were used as to check on about the access, and saving of resources was
not even taken into account. We provided all the employees with 18th grade an above with the RFID
(radio frequency identity) card which does not need to be in the line of sight with the reader. We
placed a reader at the main gate from where the attendance of the employee can be maintained.
Further each classroom have a reader outside it, the timetable is maintained. All the updates are
broadcasted on the electronic notice board. We used microcontroller and its property for maximum
use of available sources.
It can be further expanded and implemented on any organization as fully automated system. The
parking lots, the library, the labs and military units (where not all people are allowed); industries etc
can easily rely on this system. In our case however we highlighted the application on the use on our
campus (Bahria University), with employees of same nature.
