Virtual Diabetologist

Abstract

Living with diabetes is challenge that requires daily monitoring and daily care specific to patients, yet many patients struggle to access timely and effective support. Many patients face trouble getting the appropriate help they require. This project introduces the Virtual Diabetologist, a chatbot-based system designed to provide personalized diabetes management through real-time interactions. By using Llama3 AI model the system provides tailored recommendations on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle, based on individual health data. Our project helps users manage their diabetes condition by offering actionable insights that promote healthier living. Where the system emphasis on dietary recommendations it also generates personalized risk assessments based on the data the users provide, and users can track their progress through ongoing conversations. The Virtual Diabetologist system also gives the feature of allowing the other hospitals to use it as API, allowing for broader use in clinical settings. This report outlines the system’s architecture, development tools, and testing methods. The Virtual Diabetologist aims to fill the void between patient and provider for diabetes management, with a convenient, intelligent solution.
