dc.description.abstract | The paper, "Addressing Supply Chain Disruptions and Inventory Management Challenges in Asian Wok" mentions the modern innovation that might be an ultimate solution in order to bring out efficiencies in its entire supply chain processes for critically solving inefficient operations. AsianWok is an Asian food point-of-sale operation in Pakistan where most of its issues comprised supplying chain, season variability for ingredients and improper control on inventory. The organization has improved real-time inventory tracking, predictive demand forecasting, and supplier performance evaluation through the integration of advance technologies such as ERP systems and IoT-enabled sensors. It describes the need for diversification with suppliers and Total Cost of Ownership analysis in the efforts to reduce reliance on monopolistic vendors in order to attain cost efficiency and a robust supply chain. The system's reaction to demand spikes and supply chain shocks was subjected to simulation stress testing of those and preparedness for disruption of supply chains. Also, step-by- step introduction, employee development programs, and comprehensive monitoring processes helped it deliver without a glitch. It has resulted in better operational efficiency, wastage at the bare minimum, and higher profitability; AsianWok has experienced all these as a premise for its growth and satisfaction with its customers. Such a comprehensive study can prove useful for businesses looking for ways out amidst the complex supply chain interlocks within the restaurant business. | en_US |
