Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between selected green supply chain
management practices, namely Internal Environmental Management, Cooperation with
Customers, and Cooperation with Suppliers and Business Performance in the aviation
industry of Pakistan.
Methodology & Design
This is a quantitative and correlational study that analyzes the statistical relationship between
independent and dependent variables by collecting data from 384 personnel of the aviation
industry of Pakistan through a survey questionnaire designed on Google Forms and
evaluating it in SPSS and Smart PLS to achieve desired results.
Findings
The study has found positive and significant relationships between independent and
dependent variables and thus all hypotheses have been accepted.
Limitations
The study is limited to the aviation industry of Pakistan and deals with only 3 green supply
chain management activities.
Recommendations
The adoption of green supply chain management practices including close cooperation with
customers and suppliers and establishment of a robust internal environmental framework has
been proposed for companies operating in the aviation industry of Pakistan.
