Abstract:
Purpose: The objective of this study is to establish the impact of green supply chain
management practices on environmental sustainability performance. And the natural
resource based theory was tested on packaging firms located in Pakistan.
Design: A quantitative approach was adopted for this study and a 5-point Likert scale
was adapted from previous studies, a structured was developed to collect primary data.
The total number of 179 responses collected from Pakistan based packaging companies
including gravure, flexible and corrugated cartons.
Findings: The findings confirm all the proposed hypothesis were retained and all
independent variables (green purchasing, green logistics, green manufacturing and
green marketing) have positive significant results. However, these results are vary from
one dimension to other dimension, but all the adopted dimensions can be positively
affect environmental performance.
Originality /Value: This research study can be helpful for supply chain managers and
decision makers. It gives them a guidance for enhancing environmental performance.

to reduce the global warming and nature destruction
