dc.description.abstract | The data of the atmospheric condition in remote areas is gathered by this system where human intervention is a risk or not available. In such cases ‘embedded systems’ are used which perform their duty independent of human intervention completely or partially and designed specially to perform a few tasks in a most efficient way. Our project implements wireless data acquisition system using IEEE 802.15.4 standard. The sensor data fetched from various sensors employed on slave nodes can be accessed on a remote pc attached with the master node and also on an android phone using wifi connectivity. This project uses microcontroller IC named peripheral interface controller (Pic),mikroc compiler to assemble the written code, visual studio 2010 is used for the programming of an application on computer and Xamarin android developer software is used to integrate the visual studio with android for the application on mobile phone or emulator (virtual mobile). | en_US |
