MOVING TARGET DETECTION AND LOCKING WITH CAMERA

Abstract

The “MOVING TARGET DETECTION AND LOCKING WITH CAMERA” is the system to detect and lock any moving object in field of view of camera. The project works using the phenomena of digital image processing. The field of digital image processing has experienced continuous and significant expansion in recent years. The advances and wide availability of image processing hardware has further enhanced the usefulness of image processing. Moving target detection and tracking is an important technique of image and video processing for its huge potential in military and other applications. The technique always contains three basic parts: motion compensation, motion detection and object tracking. Each part adopts kinds of technical methods to solve the problems in respective fields. The purpose of this project is to develop a kind of security system that detects and tracks any moving object and generate signal when an unauthorized person or thing crosses the desired line. We have shown all our results and testing in our report, the system is implemented using Camera, microcontroller and RFID. It is quite economical and can be use by many fields of life. So, our project will be a great success for all of us as it follows all our objectives which we had set. Our main target was to detect and track moving object, which we achieve quite successfully. Later some additions were made by our university. Those are also successfully accomplished.
